The Ibanez AR725 is the ultimate mixture of classic looks and premium performance. Featuring one of Ibanez's first original designs, the double-cut AR body is made with the time-tested tonewood combination of a maple top over a mahogany body.
The 3-piece maple neck is set into the body, and features an ultra-smooth heel for unsurpassed playability--especially up in the lead range. The neck is capped with a fret edge-treated ebony fingerboard that houses medium frets for a smooth playing feel. Adding to its elegant vibe, the fingerboard is adorned with stunning inlays and cream-colored binding.
The AR725 comes loaded up with a pair of legendary Super 80 "Flying Finger" pickups to deliver warm, buttery tones with great articulation and a quick response. Because these pickups are so incredibly versatile, they're capable of achieving excellent vintage tones anywhere from a shimmering clean all the way to dirty, over-driven hard rock or blues. Switch between the bridge and the neck pickups or combine them with the onboard 3-way toggle switch, then tailor your tone with each pickups designated tone and volume controls.
