Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov has designed an entirely new model for the Classic Player series that blends '60s and '70s styling with modern high-performance. Fender has added a supercharged electronics schematic to their Classic Player Strat that will be a force to be reckoned with. The traditional triple single coil pickup configuration has been replaced with a dual humbucker format, giving this legendary icon a whole new voice. Ā
This Strat sports an alder body with the legendary ?comfort contour' design and outfitted with a pair of Fender Wide Range Special humbucking pickups. These powerful pickups came into prominence in the ?70s and have their own distinctive voice. They are paired with a 5-way selector switch for extended tonal range, as well as coil-splitting to give the traditional Strat tone if you desire. Controls included a single master volume, and 2 tone controls. Aged white plastic parts add to the vintage vibe of the Classic Player Strat HH.
The Classic Player Strat HH sports a traditional ?60s-style "C'' shape maple neck that is also equipped with the modern features that today's players demand. The neck boasts a bound rosewood fingerboard with a flatter radius of 9.5'' with 22 medium jumbo frets which makes for effortless, clean string bending. A two point synchronized tremolo and vintage-style Fender "F''-stamped tuners completes this package. Deluxe gig bag included.
